I noticed something along the way –technology wasn't as prevalent in their curriculum; coding classes were far too expensive and those classes did not give them the foundation they needed. That just didn't sit well with me. I knew I had to do something to change the status quo, particularly for people of colour.

Hello! I’m Leke, a co-founder at Shadowkat with a rich background spanning over 20 years in Human Resources Management across various sectors. I am fuelled by a deep passion for enhancing systems and empowering individuals to unleash their full potential. I am Idris, the instructor who is here to take your kid's coding journey to a whole new level! With over 6 years of experience as a developer and trainer, I'm truly passionate about the world of tech. Teaching computer science to aspiring developers is where my heart lies. I've had the privilege of empowering over one hundred young minds, helping them pave their way to success in the tech world. My journey began as a self-taught enthusiast, and I've never stopped learning since. Currently, I'm running a computer science program at the prestigious Open Source Society University. I also hold an Advance Diploma in Software Engineering from Aptech ComputerEducation WorldWide and have served as the center’s academic head. When I'm not immersed in the tech world, you can find me diving into the pages of captivating books, finding solace in the power of literature.
